FuelCell Energy has upgraded its one
megawatt Direct FuelCell power
plant at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
to use fuel created from a waste by-
product of the brewing process. This
reduces energy costs by 25 to 40
percent and cuts the amount of
carbon dioxide emitted into the
atmosphere.
